Notepad++ adalah sebuah penyunting teks dan penyunting kode sumber yang berjalan di sistem operasi Windows. Notepad++ menggunakan komponen Scintilla untuk dapat menampilkan dan menyuntingan teks dan berkas kode sumber berbagai bahasa pemrograman.

Cara Menggunakan Dropbox

 

Sebelum kita memulai memakai dropbox, saya akan menunjukan step by step bagaimana cara install dropbox pada windows.
Setelah kita mendaftar dropbox, selanjutnya kita harus mendownload aplikasi dropbox. Download dropbox, setelah itu kita akan mulai menginstallnya.

Daftar Dropbox

Pilih bagian “I already have Dropbox account“, kita sudah mendaftar itu sebelumnya. Lalu login dengan akun yang Anda buat sebelumnya.

Install Dropbox

Install Dropbox seperti Anda menginstall program kebanyakan, simpan dropbox di C:, atau pilih “Typical, setup dropbox with normal setting“.

Pilih Storage

Dropbox memberikan storage cuma-cuma hanya 2GB, tetapi anda bisa menambahnya denga mengupgrade.
Saran saya maksimalkan dulu yang 2GB, lalu setelah itu baru kamu upgrade. Tetapi, jika upgrade bukan pilihan terbaik, kamu bisa mencoba alternatif dropbox yang memberikan ruang lebih besar.

Cara Menggunakan Dropbox dan Setting Dropbox

 

Setelah berhasil menginstall Dropbox, kita bisa menambahkan folder dan berbagi dengan teman kita tanpa harus melakukan copy paste link.
Yang kita lakukan hanya meng-invite teman yang mau kita ajak ke folder kita, lalu file yang kita simpan di folder tersebut akan otomatis ada di komputer teman yang kita invite. Dengan syarat teman anda memakai Dropbox dan online.
Untuk berbagi folder caranya, login ke website Dropbox. Lalu anda kita buat sebuah folder di sana, maka folder akan otomatis ada di komputer yang sudah tersinkronisasi aplikasi Dropbox.

Klik kanan folder itu maka akan ada beberapa pilihan, pilih Shared folder options. Masukan email Dropbox teman kita, begitu teman kita menyetujuinya maka kita sudah tersinkronisasi dengan teman kita.

Lalu bagaimana caranya untuk berbagi file tanpa harus share folder atau copy paste link, contohnya seperti mediafire?
Hebatnya Dropbox bisa melakukan itu tanpa kita harus login ke website, men-upload, dan dan meng-copy link. Dan orang yang men-download pun bisa mendownload-nya secara langsung (direct).
Caranya, kita tinggal taruh file kita di folder Public . Lalu kita klik kanan file yang simpan dan pilih Dropbox > Copy public link.
Selain fitur sharing, dropbox juga bisa digunakan untuk menghost website statis.

Pengertian Shared dan Dedicated Memory

Pada semua unit Komputer, Notebook maupun Laptop, memory memegang peranan yang sangat penting dalam hal performa, terutama saat menjalankan program-program yang berhubungan dengan grafis, baik itu video editing, desain grafis, ataupun permainan (Game). Menurut penggunaannya Memory di bagi menjadi 2 jenis yaitu Shared memory dan Dedicate memory:

1. Shared memory: Disebut begitu jika video memory disatukan penggunaannya dengan system memory (RAM). Jadi secara fisik hanya ada 1 modul memory yang dipakai bersama oleh video graphics array (VGA) dan sistem.
2. Dedicated memory: Sesuai namanya, Ada 1 modul memori yang hanya didedikasikan untuk penggunaan 1 instansi, misalnya VGA card. Ini berarti ada 2 modul memory dalam 1 laptop, modul 1 sebagai RAM sedangkan modul 2 sebagai VRAM (video RAM/video memory)

Lalu, manakah yang lebih bagus ? 
tentu saja, dapat dipastikan bahwa yang terbaik adalah tipe 2. Karena masing-masing proses dapat ditangani secara independen. Karena 2 proses berjalan pada waktu yang sama, maka bisa dibayangkan jika proses 2 perangkat itu (sistem dan VGA) digabung dalam 1 memory, maka akan terjadi kesibukan transfer data yang akan menurunkan kecepatan memory. Namun anda bisa mengecek sendiri yaitu dengan cara hidupkan windowsnya dan masuk ke system properties (terserah mau gimana masuknya) Asumsikan bahwa RAM laptop sebesar 1GB. Disana akan ada info prosesor dan besar memori yang terpasang. Nah, jika besar memori hanya tampil disekitar 700an MB, berarti tipe memorinya adalah shared (256 MB di potong video memory), akan tetapi jika yang tampil 0.99 GB (dibulatkan jadi 1GB) berarti termasuk tipe dedicated memory.

masih seputar powerpoint sobat, bagi kalian yang ingin membuat presentasi seperti website. bisa ikuti cara ini

Untuk menghubungkan halaman satu dengan halaman yang lain, pada micossoft power point kita dapat memanfaatkan menu hyperlink atau biasa disingkat dengan link dengan simbol  dan biasa terletak pada menu bar INSERT –> Hyperlink. Baiklah, pada tutorial kali ini akan saya demokan cara mentautkan halaman pada power point dengan menggunakan hyperlink.

Buatlah slide power point sesuai dengan kebutuhan, misalnya pada tutorial ini saya contohkan dengan 4 slide dengan ketentuan: slide 1 (judul), slide 2 (daftar isi), slide 3 (bab 1), slide 4 (bab 2). Sehingga tampilannya seperti ini:

Hyperlink dapat dibuat lewat sebuah kata ataupun dari sebuah button (tombol). misalkan disini akan kita coba untuk membuat link pada slide 2 ke slide 3 dan slide 4. Pertama blok kata-kata yang akan kita link-kan, misalnya seperti berikut:

pada gambar di atas, kita akan mencoba mentautkan (nge-link-kan) tulisan “Pengenalan perangkat keras komputer” ke slide ke 3 dengan cara:

• pilih menu bar Insert –> Hyperlink sehingga muncul kotak dialog seperti berikut:

• Pada pilihan link to, pilih Place In This Document
• Pilih slide yang dituju, misalnya pada contoh ini, ditautkan ke slide 3 yaitu BAB 1

• klik OK dan berhasil
• Lakukan hal yang sama pada kalimat di bawahnya dan coba link-kan ke slide 4 (BAB 2).

Kita telah belajar mentautkan halaman lewat kata atau tulisan, sekarang akan kita coba mentautkan halaman lewat sebuah tombol atau button. caranya juga tak jauh beda, yaitu:

• Select button yang akan di link atau ditautkan.

• pilih menu bar Insert –> Hyperlink atau dengan meng-klik kanan button yang dimaksud dan pilih Hyperlink
• Kemudian lanjutkan dengan langkah-langkah yang sama dengan cara mentautkan halaman melalui kata-kata atau tulisan. (seperti contoh di atas).
